I meant to actually take this blog semi-serious by posting content on some sort of basis, but you know how it goes. I started a new full-time job at the beginning of the month, so I’ve been trying to get into the groove of things before finding the time to write stuff again.

Ducky Shine 3 (MX Blue), DSA profile blank keycaps from MEHKEE
My replacement order from MEHKEE came in today. DSA profile PBT blank keycaps, and two vials of Krytox VPF-1514 in their new vials (which replaces their old vials they used to ship it in, which was prone to leaks). The blanks will probably go on my old Ducky Shine 3, and the Krytox will be for lubing some Cherry MX Silent Reds once they come back in stock.
The customer service from MEHKEE is top notch.
Received my RAMA WORKS keycap today. It is a gorgeous color, and of course, incredibly made. This will probably be the cap that will live in that keycap position once I finalize my board’s look with the caps I have coming in.
Just arrived today. Jelly Key Year of the Rooster. It’s adorbs.
I plan on building the KBD75 on Saturday, so in preparation, I’ve started clipping and lubing the replacement stabilizers I received today. Since I’m a sucker for some bling, I opted for 24k gold Cherry stabilizers from Originative to go with the 24K 100g springs I have in the switches I’m putting in the board.
As mentioned in a previous post, I ordered stabs from multiple vendors, and Originative’s arrived first. All the others are slated to arrive on Friday, so I’ll have extras (for my next build).
I’m giving a friend one of my old keyboards (a Magicforce 68 with Outemu browns), so I’m giving the keyboard a good clean, and disinfecting the keycaps with denture tablets because I’m not an asshole.
